Jamie-Lee Spencer
[Mentor + Oral Health Therapist]
Bringing a decade of compassionate expertise from the field of dentistry to my current role as a mentor. My career pivot was inspired by a profound realisation during challenging times in the dental industry: my innate ability to connect with and support others. My experiences in dentistry, particularly in assisting individuals overcome their fears and discomfort in such a sensitive area as oral care, have honed my empathetic and understanding approach.
Specialising in pediatric dentistry, I developed a unique rapport with children, especially those aged 2-7, including providing tailored care for clients with neurodivergent disorders. This experience has been instrumental in my seamless transition to supporting individuals with disabilities, where understanding and patience are paramount.
My personal journey, marked by overcoming learning difficulties such as dyslexia and ADHD, has imbued me with a deep sense of empathy and a non-conventional approach to learning and development.
My academic achievement, a Bachelor's degree in Oral Health Therapy, stands as a testament to the power of resilience, mentorship, and self-awareness.
I am driven by a profound vision for my clients: to instill a belief in the limitless potential within each individual.
Inspired by luminaries like Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, and Albert Einstein, who each viewed the world through a unique lens, I am committed to being the coach and support that empowers my clients to surpass their own expectations. In this journey, I am more than a Support Worker; I am an advocate for possibility, an ally in overcoming challenges, and a believer in the extraordinary potential of every individual I have the privilege to assist.
